Why do you need a Ratepayers' & Residents' Association?
The Association is a form of 'collective,' a group of concerned
citizens who cares about how our town is run, that local government’s financial dealings (tenders, salaries, and
budgets) are transparent, and that the ‘voiceless’ among us (children, animals, the aged) have a
champion who cares about their rights.
The more of us there are in the association, it stands to reason, the more weight our requests, concerns and opinions carry.
Membership of the Association runs from 1st October to 30 September each year and costs just R20.
